MWA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to one simple goal: Defeat Mesothelioma.
Recognizing that the fight against mesothelioma is likely to be a long one, MWA is committed to providing emotional, practical, and financial support to caregivers and victims of mesothelioma. Further, MWA will provide educational resources to those affected by mesothelioma and to the general public to increase overall awareness. Additionally, MWA will advocate for increased research funding to improve diagnosis outcomes and life expectancy.
Despite its severity, mesothelioma remains a relatively obscure disease with limited public knowledge and understanding. Increased awareness is crucial to promote prevention efforts, early detection, and expanded treatment options.
MWA is building a community—an Alliance designed to mobilize resources, harness collective action, and stimulate the momentum necessary to conquer mesothelioma.
